From your first visitors from Scotland
Field with poppeys
Being in a hotel is fine, but when you are here you belong, Lirios del Valle becomes home for a while. You can see that everyone who comes here and writes in your book likes to be here, to come back, to remember, and enjoys being with you. There are plums to eat straight from the tree, butterflies and birds to watch, dogs not to feed and a nice atmosphere to feel. Yes, it is cool when the cloud comes in from the Atlantic, but Las Caņadas is so hot, and there are lazy afternoons when the sun warms the tiles and the breeze keeps you comfortable. Goats trot past up the road, horses clip-clop along, two sounds and sights we never have at home. This has been a good base for continuing to explore this interesting island. Only Iceland and Scotland have so much good geology. Thank you for taking us to the studio. Next time you have to do some painting, with or without a visiting artist.
